points of Guanacaste: Playa Grande, Tamarindo, Langosta, and very near from us: Playa Negra (considered one the best
rights in the North Pacific).
But if you stay at Avellanes, you wont have to look for great surfing points in other beaches: You have them in front of our hotel...
More than five different surfing points offers the surfer the possibility to run lefts and rights, over rock or sand, in high or low tide... The surfers dream!
As you walk in our trails you enter truly in contact with nature wonders. You have the opportunity to encounter many different species of animals: monkeys, raccoons, and an enormous
variety of birds, all in their natural habitat. For this purpose we built a wooden bridge all along the Mangrove Reserve.
Its clean and crystalline sea provide pleasure to surfers, fisherman and those of you that love scuba diving.
Playa Avellanes White Sand Beach, located on a Mangrove Reserve still permits you to discover Nature intact.
