 Mawamba is a 15 acre beachfront lodge located on the right side of the Tortuguero
offering great views of the canals.
It is the ideal hideaway for nature lovers and people seeking adventure. With 54 comfortable rooms, 2 international restaurants, two docks, swimming pool,
Jacuzzi, souvenir shop, nature trails, walking beach access, volleyball and a conference room, this place is geared to visitors of all walks of life.
All stays include 3 meals a day, transportation
to and from San José, and regular tours into the park.
One of the great reasons to stay here is, of course, Tortuguero National Park, which is a navigable network of lake and canals that cross the National Park from Southeast to Northwest and accessible
only by land, boat or air. The are no roads to get here!
