Introduction

Located on a 150-acre private beachfront reserve along the Nicoya Peninsula on the Pacific Coast, Tango Mar offers the intimate exclusivity of a small, deluxe beach resort on a vast site where you can find a space to call your own.

The Tango Mar offers different accommodations. Choose between a room at the Beach Hotel, the Tropical or Tiki Suites or stay at the Golf Course Presidential Villa. The Beach hotel features 2 queen size beds, tropical style furniture, air conditioning and ceiling fans, private bath with hot water and large shower. These oversized hotel rooms are right on the beach, so close to the ocean that in high tide the surf touches the base of the building and the gentle sounds of the surf put you to sleep every night.

Another option are the luxury Tropical Suites. These unique and charming rooms are surrounded by exuberant tropical gardens and are just 90 steps from the beach on a bluff overlooking the Pacific. Elegantly appointed, each suite is graced with hand carved four post canopy king size bed. All rooms have air conditioning and ceiling fans and private bath with jaccuzi. They are contained within an elliptical, shell shaped cluster and share a sun deck.

Or enjoy your stay at the Tiki Suites. These five, deluxe ocean view Polynesian style wood and bamboo cabanas sit on stilts just 60 ft. from the beach, just below the Tropical Suits and to the side of the hotel. They are surrounded by tropical gardens and palm trees. All suites are furnished with fine carved wood king size beds, sitting areas, air conditioning, ceiling fans, private jacuzzi, hair dryer and a stained glass dome window.

The Golf Course Presidential Villa is a luxurious grand villa which features a modern and open Mediterranean design. All of the four bedroom suites lead to a spectacular private swimming pool complete with waterfall from where our guests can enjoy the spectacular ocean view.

At the Tango Mar you will encounter a living community with a pulse that beats in time with its natural surroundings and to the push-pull rhythm of the constantly breaking Pacific waves.
