The Villa Blanca Story
Villa Blanca Cloud Forest Hotel and Spa is set within what had been second home to the former President of Costa Rica, Rodrigo Carazo Odio, founder of the Univ.
of Peace, and former First Lady Estrella Carazo Zeledón. Following their public career, the 3,000-acre dairy farm and Los Angeles Private Biological Reserve
became an ideal location to create a traditional country setting for family and guests. On Dec. 20, 2003, Green Hotels of Costa Rica acquired Villa Blanca and the
surrounding 75 acres of gardens, pastures, and cloud forest property. What began as the vision of The Carazo family is today the pride of Green Hotels and their
sister property, Si Como No Resort and Spa.
