Surf n' Turf 1: The Jaco Eco Adventure

Tamarindo DiriaOkay, you're here for surfing, but you might be interested in some of the other adventures that Costa Rica has to offer. If that's the case, consider the Surf n' Turf 1. You're a terrestrial creature; explore a little on land after your morning surf sessions!

Tamarindo DiriaThis is an awesome combination of adventures - surfing in Jaco and Hermosa regions (about 2 hours west of San Jose), ecotours, white-water rafting, golfing, and a waterfall hike. There is also an option for sportfishing!

    Jah Love Dreamer

Surfing on the Caribbean CoastThe Caribbean coast is quite different than the Pacific as you will find it is not as nearly built up. The culture / atmosphere is even more laid back than other parts of Costa Rica. And that's pretty laid back.

    Caribbean Alert!Azania Bungalows

Without being too plain in speech, the Azania Bungalows are a great bang for the buck. Inexpensive (but not cheap) accommodations in a beautiful location on the Caribbean, close to surfing and other attractions.

Azania BungalowsAmong the original laid-back Caribbean villages of Puerto Viejo and Manzanillo, right in front of Cocles Beach. This is a very zen place and in harmony with its surroundings.
